New D.Va Feet

I've been working on a updating Mets' D.Va model with NecDaz91's much higher quality feet. Ever since seeing the renders and animations of wtsnacks1, I decided I also wanted better looking feet for D.Va. I made a few renders to show the comparison between the new and old feet:

I also added sliders for a height map which makes her feet progressively more scrunchy and wrinkled, though it's pretty rough and could use some tweaking. The textures were blended a bit in photoshop to match d.va's skin tone, however the skin texture itself could use more blending, and her soles could use a bit more pink, but I'll probably deal with it later. Once I finish some other rigging features I'll probably end up sharing the model.

At any rate, now when D.Va sticks her feet in your face, they'll actually look like feet and not ogre flippers.

New PC

New PC is finally built and running. It's completely modern and fairly expensive. My old PC was ~6 years old by comparison and was half the budget. Should make rendering and working in blender significantly easier and faster. Gotta love moving up into the middle class.

Personal Update

Hi guys,

After some time in the job search after graduating I've finally gotten a full-time offer for a job. So I guess this carries some good and bad news. Good news being, I'll have an income to afford a better PC and maybe some side software. On the other hand, I'll have significantly less free time to make stuff. The bad news I think is kind of moot though, because the limitations I've had made me waste a lot of time I might not have with a better PC. One of the big issues, especially with animating, is being able to preview an animation in real-time, as well as having to render out images to test lighting, which even with low res renders still took me a lot of time it'd normally take professionals just several seconds.

In other news, I have been casually working on some other stuff. I've been working on making a little mini-comic with a few pages in the style of 'widow spread.' I'm also a decent amount of the way through another animation which I'm hoping to make both a normal 2D version, and then render out another in 3D stereo VR, which is something the world needs way more of IMO. I've canned working anymore on the widowmaker facesitting scene, and I have a couple of alternate scenes I had lined up for 'd.va wins' with different costumes like officer and cruiser d.va, but it's been shelved for now cause I've wanted to work on new things.

If anything is getting close to completion I'll post another update with a preview, hopefully with a better PC and in higher quality. :D

Widowspread (more vanilla-y version)

did a quick render without the chain or angry face

the mega folder has been updated with these renders

Widowspread (with comic effect + bully captions)

Raw render

Comic book posterization effect

Posterization effect with captions

I spent quite a bit of time touching up the original render in photoshop, specifically brushing more realistic shadows onto Widowmaker's ass. If you zoom in you'll probably see my brush strokes, but I'm otherwise really happy with how it came out. This is my best render yet, I think. I might do a couple vanilla versions without the chain+angry look+bully pic.

I also wanted to experiment with using photoshop to posterize renders. Overall I think it looks okay, but I couldn't figure out a way to make the shadows a little smoother (i.e. on widow's ass cheek), and one of the downsides with the method I used is that a lot of small details (like her eyes, and her ass crack) got washed out. It's definitely something I'll be experimenting more with, as captioned comics would be a fun way to include a story with a set of images in place of longer form animations which just aren't realistic for me yet. Femdom is better with context anyways (instead of always depicting the sub in bondage cause im a pleb). Feel free to send some ideas, cause otherwise the first is 100% going to be d.va related.

Tracer Facefucked by Widowmaker Animated

Oof; it looked great in Open GL, but nearly a week straight of rendering and this came out terrible. I didn't bother to check with a quick render before I committed to the full quality render to see that the looping got messed up when I re-scaled the fps from 60 to 30 to save on render time. Among a bunch of other glaring issues I guess I'll just take it as a learning experience.

Widowmaker facesitting Tracer rendering... 109/220

Frame 109/220 rendered so far. It's been 3 days, and it'll be another few days before it's finished. Once it's done I'll work on tweaking the scene to look good in POV, and then render that too (for another week).

I recently fixed my university laptop which has a better GFX chip for rendering than my PC, and which would also allow me to render uninterrupted for days (or I guess weeks at a time) without making my PC virtually unusable. It's still not an ideal situation, but I will at least have a limited capacity to put out animations in low resolution/low quality/low fps. I'll also have to be extremely selective about the angles I render. For context, I'm rendering at 25% the quality of the images I've recently been posting.

Resources folder added to mega drive

I've added a folder to the mega drive (link is on the right panel) called resources where I'll release and dump any resources I make for creating content. I'm not a modeler so there will probably never be any models or props, but I've been working on making panoramas on various overwatch maps which can be used as an HDRI.

Note that they aren't really HDRI's. Overwatch doesn't record HDR information in screenshots. Also note that ground level refers to height at which the panorama was recorded from. The overwatch panoramas uploaded by Rekin on smutbase are taken at average human height to give the impression you're standing when you view the panorama, but I wanted to create panoramas which give the impression you're laying on the ground (though I guess the effect is identical to feeling like you've been shrunk if you stand up).

Here's a quick link to the subfolder.

D.Va wins! (Panorama + VR edition)

Link to alternate mirror

I wanted to experiment a bit with VR, so I rendered my latest dva picture in 4K in both panorama and stereo VR. I uploaded the full resolution panorama, as well as the VR images to my mega dump; here's a quick link. Best viewed while laying down, though if you look at it while standing up, you might as well should also tag this with giantess (but I intended it to be a normal sized dva imminently about to smother your face as you lay helplessly on your back). I'm still trying to figure out how to photoshop out the graphical glitches out of the two stereo views as I did for the flat portrait version (dva's weird brow, the HDRI seams, the king's row blimp stitched multiple times, etc...) but I gave up. I'll figure it out later and update the mega when/if I do.

The original picture has ~90 FOV, which is close to what many (cheaper) VR headsets lenses display anyways. I wanted to capture dva's mech pinning you to the ground, dva's foot inches from your face, but also dva's expression, and some of the world around dva to give you the context to realize you're lying on your back all in the same shot. I think the flat portrait came out great, but VR is in a league of it's own...
